B2C
SILVERWOOD KITCHENS is proud to be a new member of the GEORGETOWN BUSINESS TO COMMUNITY Networking Referral Group. B2C is a group of business owners and professionals in Georgetown, ON who refer hundreds of dollars worth of business each week.
The group has a unique local community focus providing opportunities for the top businesses in Georgetown, Milton, Acton, Erin, Brampton and Halton to exchange leads and build each others businesses to grow and give back to the local community. Raffles, 50/50 draws and movie nights are just a few ways B2C has raised funds for Georgetown Hospital, Food4Kids, Heart&Stroke, to name a few.
Local Businesses Give A
Helping Hand
Recently, a young man Dylan Best-Degeer was bullied in Georgetown. As a member of B2C (Business to Community), we put our heads together and made up a package for Dylan to let him know that the community was aware of his circumstance and that we care. Rick Bonnette presented Dylan with B2C's gift package, along with a coat from Halton Hills Fire Department and the FORC riding club gave him a ride, to show how a community can come together and make a difference in someone’s life. We hope by telling Dylan’s story, we bring awareness to our community, so it won't happen again to anyone else. The B2C package included: 2 Georgetown Proud t-shirts B2C mug 2 Hamilton Tiger-Cats football tickets $50 Boston Pizza/Kelseys gift card $200 Canadian Tire gift card.
Coldest Night of the Year
Georgetown raised $42,578 ($25,00 goal) for GEORGETOWN BREAD BASKET in the Coldest Night of the Year family-friendly walk to raise money for charities serving hungry, homeless and hurting people in our community. Silverwood Kitchens was proud to be a part of the B2C team, which placed 1st place in Georgetown and 123rd in Canada. Thanks to all of those you helped us surpass our goal! Way to go everyone!
